Dan Cruickshank

Professor Dan Cruickshank is an architectural historian and television presenter. He is a regular presenter on the BBC, best known for his popular series Britain's Best Buildings, Around the World in 80 Treasures and for his appearances in The House Detectives, Under Fire, What the Industrial Revolution Did For Us and The Country House Revealed. His books include Around the World in 80 Treasures; Life in the Georgian City; The Guide to the Georgian Buildings of Britain and Ireland; The Story of Britain's Best Buildings and The Secret History of Georgian London. He is an Honorary Fellow of RIBA, a member of the Executive Committee of the Georgian Group, and on the Architectural Panel of the National Trust. Dan is a leading expert on architecture and historic buildings, and a frequent contributor to The Architects' Journal and The Architectural Review.
