Henry Eliot is a writer and literary walker. He is co-editor of Curiocity, a map-magazine of unusual experiences in London, and is currently co-writing an Alternative A to Z of London. He has led guided walks through London for Google, the City of London, City Lit and the cheese shop at Leadenhall Market. In April 2012, he organised a recreation of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, raising over £10,000 for the National Literacy Trust. In September 2013, he organised a mass pilgrimage for the National Trust, from Southwark to William Morris’s Red House in Bexleyheath. He has worked on BBC television programmes Masterchef and The Magicians, written speeches for the UK’s chief scientist, and promoted overseas trade of British creative industries.
