Maureen Lipman
Maureen Lipman was born in Hull before it got Cultured. She has a son and daughter, both writers an 18 month old granddaughter of great beauty and was married for 33 years to the late great screenwriter Jack Rosenthal. She is proud of her roles in the musicals Oklahoma, A Little Night Music and Wonderful Town and of her devised show Re:Joyce and her TV series Agony and Ladies of Letters. She feels she really peaked as Plop the Owl in the recorded book The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. She has written nine books, the last being I Must Collect Myself.
