Bee Rowlatt
Bee Rowlatt is a writer and journalist. The best-selling Talking About Jane Austen in Baghdad(Penguin) has been dramatised by the BBC, and translated into numerous languages. She clocked around 19 years at the BBC World Service (now freelance), and has written for numerous publications including The Telegraph and The Independent, appearing regularly on TV and radio also. Bee does regular workshops and school events on journalism, radio, working motherhood, and feminism, and is also vice-chair of a campaign for a memorial statue of Mary Wollstonecraft. Bee won the Society of Authors' K Blunder Trust award to complete the travels for her current book, In Search of Mary, is inspired by the life of Mary Wollstonecraft.
