Bernie Katz

Bernie Katz is a writer and Front of House Manager at The Groucho Club on Dean Street. His book Soho Society, published in 2008, was a collection of short stories about colourful Soho characters, with cover artwork contributed by Sir Peter Blake and Damien Hirst, and a foreword by Stephen Fry. For almost 20 years, Katz has been the gatekeeper of The Groucho and guardian of its secrets, earning himself the nickname of ‘Prince of Soho’.
