Beth Orton
Beth Orton sings songs about, and from, key moments in her life. She has released numerous studio albums since her break in the mid-1990s, and won two BRIT awards and the Mercury Music Prize for her second, Trailer Park (1996). She is known for her mix of folk and electronica. In 2007, she joined forces with Annie Lennox and 22 other female artists to release 'Sing', a single for World AIDS Day.
