DAVID NICHOLLS is one of Britain's most successful writers with an incomparable talent for making us laugh, cry and wince with recognition. He is the author of five bestselling novels - Starter for Ten, The Understudy, One Day, Us and Sweet Sorrow – which have sold over 8 million copies worldwide and are published in forty languages. David is also a sought-after screenwriter- his first break came when he wrote for the third series of Cold Feet.
