Katherine Rundell

Katherine Rundell is a fellow in literature at All Souls College, Oxford, specialising in the Renaissance, and is midway through writing a book about John Donne. She is the author of five children's books; the most recent, The Explorer, won the 2017 Costa Children’s Book Award. Her play about the life of the writer Saki won the Best of Edinburgh award, and transferred to New York earlier this year. She also wrote a short animated film about a hedgehog which went on to win an Emmy, but honesty compels her to admit it was for the technology rather than the plot.
