Kenan Malik
Kenan Malik is a writer, lecturer and broadcaster. He was born in India, brought up in Manchester, and now lives in London He is a presenter of Analysis, BBC Radio 4’s flagship current affairs programme, and a panelist on The Moral Maze. He has also written and presented a number of radio and TV documentaries including Are Muslims Hated? and Islam, Mullahs and the Media. His books include From Fatwa to Jihad, Strange Fruit , Man, Beast and Zombie , and The Meaning of Race (1996). He is a campaigner against imperialism and injustice and for equal rights, freedom of expression, and a secular society. He is a Trustee of Index on Censorship and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
