Kritika Pandey
Kritika Pandey is a Pushcart-nominated writer from Jharkhand, India, and a graduate of the MFA for Poets and Writers, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a recipient of a 2020 grant from the Elizabeth George Foundation. She is the Asia winner of the 2020 Commonwealth Short Story Prize and was shortlisted for the prize in 2016 as well as 2018. Her works are forthcoming or have appeared in Granta, The Common, The Bombay Literary Magazine, Raleigh Review, UCity Review, The Bombay Review, and eFiction India, among others. She is the winner of the 2020 James W. Foley Memorial Award, the 2018 Harvey Swados Fiction Prize, the 2018 Cara Parravani Memorial Award in Fiction, and a 2014 Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship for Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh. She is a 2014 Young India Fellow.
