Lucy Hughes-Hallett
Lucy Hughes-Hallett is a biographer, cultural historian and novelist. She has won the Samuel Johnson Prize, the Duff Cooper Prize and the Costa Biography of the Year Award. Her book on Gabriele d’Annunzio was described in The Sunday Times as ‘the biography of the decade’. She was the chair of this years International Booker Prize.
