Rachel Rose Reid
Rachel Rose Reid is a spoken word artist, writer, & storyteller. Raised on a hotchpotch of immigrant heritage, English folk music and concrete jungle, Rachel has written and performed work with and for a great bunch of commissioners and creative partners, including BBC Radio 3, Billy Bragg, Dizraeli & the Small Gods, London Symphony Orchestra, the British Council, and the Royal Shakespeare Company's Learning Performance Network. She is Artist in Residence at places including the EFDSS, Charles Dickens Museum and the Saison Poetry Library. She has performed my poetry and tales internationally, from London's Southbank Centre to NYC's Nuyorican Poets Café; from Australia's ACT Theatre Canberra, to Europe's largest storytelling festival, Alden Biesen.
