Rick Stroud
Rick Stroud is a television director and writer. Stroud began his work in film at Granada TV, where he directed episodes of Coronation Street and acted as Associate Producer on the 1981 adaptation of Brideshead Revisited. He has garnered BAFTA and Emmy nominations for his work in film and television. More recently he has turned to non-fiction writing, and his The Book of the Moon was published in 2009. In it, Stroud contemplates both the physics and the mythologies of all things lunar, explaining his own personal obsession with the moon, as well as that of the numerous individuals across history who have worked towards the conquest of this fascinating entity.
