Terence Blacker
Terence Blacker is a journalist, critic, and author. His first novel, FIXX , was published in 1989, and he has since gone on to publish many more. In 2006, he wrote a biography of his friend, writer Willie Donaldson, entitled You Cannot Live As I Have Lived and Not End Up Like This. He regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and 4, and writes a twice-weekly column for the Independent. He has also devised and performed Taboo-Be-Do! Hits and Misses from the Politically Incorrect Songbook, the basis of a 2011 Radio 4 series.
